Connect Your Message Gateway

In this tutorial, we'll guide you through connecting a custom SMS gateway with Airnote, making it easy to send SMS messages to your customers. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Gather Your Information

Before you begin, ensure you have the following details from your SMS gateway provider:

• Account SID: Your gateway account ID (if required).
• Access Token / API Key: Your unique authentication key.
• Sender ID: The name or number that will appear as the sender.
• Other Required Parameters: Any additional information required by your SMS gateway (like message format or recipient number).

Step 2: Access Airnote Settings

1. Log in to your Airnote account.
2. Navigate to the Settings section.
3. Click on Message Gateway.

Step 3: Configure Your SMS Gateway

1. Select the gateway you want to connect from the gateway list.

2. Fill in the required fields:

• Account SID: Provide a recognizable name for your gateway.

• Sender ID: Enter the name or number that will appear as the sender.

• Access Token / API Key: Input your API key/token for authentication.

  After entering all the details, click Save to save your gateway settings.

Step 4: Test the Connection

To test if the gateway integration is working, trigger any notification flow you have activated, such as "Order Created." Place a test order using a valid phone number and check if you received the SMS notification. This will confirm that your SMS gateway is set up correctly.
